Perched on the slopes overlooking the Óbidos lagoon, Guardian Bom Sucesso is an 18-hole championship course (par 72) designed by renowned architect Donald Steel and inaugurated in September 2008.
Offering breathtaking views of the lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, it covers more than 60 hectares and features a layout combining gently rolling fairways, well-designed greens, strategically placed bunkers, and water hazards, in a harmonious blend of nature and contemporary architecture. Accessible to all levels, it offers an elegant and memorable challenge, notably with its signature hole—a downhill par 5 offering spectacular views and requiring a careful technical approach.
Designed by the legendary Severiano Ballesteros, the Royal Óbidos Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course stretching over 6,695 meters facing the Óbidos lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. Opened in 2012, it captivates with its undulating fairways, lakes connected by waterfalls, and technical greens that offer a varied challenge for golfers of all levels. With its signature holes, including a spectacular par-3 with an island green and a panoramic 18th hole, this course combines strategy and natural beauty in a coastal setting unique in Portugal.
